Volunteerism is at the heart of what the Christ Child Society of Detroit (CCSD) is all about.
As noted on our Welcome page, CCSD is a charitable, non-profit organization of volunteers. CCSD wouldn't be able to carry out its mission and maintain the important charitable services it provides without the invaluable help of the many dedicated volunteers who have supported CCSD in the past and who make CCSD what it is today.
In addition to being an organization dependent upon the selfless efforts of our volunteers for its very existence, CCSD provides a rich variety of outreach volunteer opportunities through its affiliation with organizations such as Ronald McDonald House, CARE House of Oakland County, Heartwarmers, Open Hands Food Pantry, Whitmer Human Resources Center, Cornerstone Schools and Our Lady of Guadeloupe Middle School for Girls, among others.
